Owners bring their pet bull shopping with them

Petco has shown that all pets really are welcome after a couple stunned shoppers by bringing in their enormous steer bull.

Owner Vincent Browning decided to test the pet shop’s policy of allowing all leashed pets by putting African Watusi bull Oliver on a lead and taking him shopping.

In a video posted on Facebook, staff in the Texas store are seen approaching the bull and even stroking him between his large horns.

Alongside the video, Mr Browning wrote: “The awesome crew at Petco – Atascocita did not disappoint!!

“They welcomed Oliver the African Watusi with open arms.

“The staff members here are always super friendly and courteous to us. We really enjoy coming to this location…our favorite Petco BY FAR!!”

The post soon became a viral hit, with many animal lovers praising Petco for the open door policy.

Petco CEO Ron Coughlin joined in on the conversation, tweeting: “Pets are family no matter the type, breed or size!

“So proud (and a little jealous) of our Atascocita team for keeping @Petco’s word when we say “ALL leashed #pets are welcome.”

“Meeting Oliver, the African Watusi, looks like an incredible experience!”
